Double Anniversary with Numerous Guests from All Over the World

Sehnde, 29.05.2009

Whether it is tiny stainless steel screws or entire industrial plants: V-LINE Europe Export Marketing GmbH with its head offices in Sehnde by Hanover has been delivering original replacement parts directly from the manufacturer to clients on four continents for twenty years – guaranteed on-time, at a fixed price and including processing of the various custom formalities.

Amongst the companies who trust in the unique industry-wide  business model with its procurement service  of the company founded in 1989 are the Saudi-Arabian petrochemical concern SABIC, the world-wide second largest rolled steel supplier Baosteel in China or even Volkswagen de México; the specific V-LINE procurement model even belongs to the teaching material in numerous economic colleges in China today.

The right idea for the right moment
The 20-year success story of V-LINE would hardly be imaginable without the untiring efforts of its company's founder and present CEO, Detlev Daues. When at the end of the seventies western manufacturers began to supply the Arabic region with entire ready-to-use industrial plants without building up a practice-oriented concept for ensuring replacement parts parallel with this, the then 24-year old recognized his chance and made himself self-employed with a loan from his parents. "I practically lived in Saudi-Arabia for several years and virtually rang every doorbell around in this region," recalls Daues. The undeviating trust in his idea was worth it: Today, V-LINE has a world-wide workforce of 151, 90 in the headquarters in Sehnde, and maintains locations in Brazil, China, Mexico and the USA. The latest subsidiary to open was the V-LINE SAUDI ARABIA LTD, with its head office in the industrial metropolis Al Jubail which started business operations in October of last year.

Twenty-Thirty
On the 29th May 2009, a double anniversary will be taking place in the V-LINE company headquarters in Sehnde which were extensively renovated a short three years previous. Clients, business partners and employees from far and abroad as well as personalities from business and politics have been invited to the celebration which is both for the company's foundation twenty years ago and also as a reminder of the first beginnings as a supplier of maintenance, repair and operating materials 30 years ago. In addition to the swing in a class of its own from Lutz Krajenski, the musical director of the Roger Cicero Band, guests of the "Twenty-Thirty-Party" can also expect an extra special attraction: Instead of the conventional chronic of the company, V-LINE is presenting an opulently designed company reading book which employees from all locations plus business friends and clients have contributed to with quite personal stories, memories and views concerning V-LINE. The typical blue V-LINE jigsaw puzzle piece will provide the visual connection, symbolizing the customer service orientation of the company. Several thousand kilometres of travel - crossing borders as is just typical for V-LINE, were covered especially for the photographs taken for the book. When you leaf through the large-sized volume, you meet upon an interview, amongst other things, with His Excellency, Abdullah Al Hussayen, the Minister of Water and Electricity from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the company's founder, Detlev Daues, responds to the importance of Benson P. Shapiro's recognition, the American economist,  of V-LINE's development, and along with Christian Wulff, the Minister President of Lower Saxony, Walter Hirche, the erstwhile Minister for Economic Affairs are also represented with an article. Incidentally, even his successor in office, Dr. Phillip Rösler, has agreed to participate in the company's grand fete.
